Meeting called to order at 6:01 pm
Secretary Report~ Becky
- June meeting minutes were read and a motion to accept the
minutes was made by Trevor and seconded by Kinger and passed by oral
vote.
Treasurers Report~ Todd:
- General account: $
- Gambling account: no updated report
- Have the checks for 1st Responders
- Chokio, Donnelly, Courage Cottage and the Sexual Assault Center
- Motion
to accept treasurer’s report made by Kinger, seconded
by Trevor and passed by oral vote.
Vice President’s report~ Vonnie
- Introduction to Vonnie and Mikes new baby girl.
State Reps Report~ Deano:
- State Rally tickets $35.00. This will be the last night
that
they will be this price. They will be
returned at the next BOD.
- Gambling/Raffle tickets cannot be sold out of state but can
be sold in MN to people who live out of state. (State Gambling Law)
- State Rally committee signed a new
5 year contract for the Rally to be held at the Litchfield fairgrounds.
- Will be discussed at the next BOD
about a “Blanket Insurance Policy” for fund raisers, events etc. (Out
of
chapter Accounts?)
Government Relations Liaison~ Pete
Public Relations/Historian~ need to find someone for this duty
Gambling Report~ Hives
- Not even 10 books of raffle tickets have been returned. We
have
200 books to sell. Need to get out there
and sell them or this will be our last raffle.
Events Committee~ Mark
PGR Update~Vince
Website~ Warren
Old Business:
- Tent for the State Rally was reserved $310.00
- Need more ideas for the distribution of Buddy Bears.
New Business:
- Need to get the First Responders together to give them the
checks.
- Will be passing the hat each meeting till the Rally to
defer
the cost of the tent.
