Secretaries report read by Spoon. Motion to accept made by Mark, seconded by Hives, and passed by oral vote.

State Reps Report~ Chuckles:

~Southwest disrict deserves a pat on the back... membership numbers are up across the district.
~We had three people get reply's from our letter writing campaign last meeting.
~Amy Klobachar is proposing a bill on the safety of pool drains after someone drown in a swimming poolsd and this raises concerns about helmet laws.
~Biker Day at the Capitol is Wednesday February 27th. Busses will be the same as last year. Donations will be accepted to help offset costs.
~Active member patches passed out.

Vice Presidents Report~ Rodney:

~Raffle~ The beef will cost the same as last year $1000, the hog will again be donated however, this year we will have to either haul it ourselves or pay the $60 to have it hauled, and the processing will cost around $200. We can get a 90cc arctic cat mini 4 wheeler for $1750, a 50cc for $1979 (from dealer), a 50cc mini bike for $1100. Sturges can get a mini 4 wheeler for $700.

Government Relations Liaison~ Pete Wlazlak:

~MRF meeting in Washington where the NTSB merely minced words. We need to be writing letters, e-mails, and making phone calls. Most importantly we need to go to biker day at the capitol.

Public Relations/Historian~Stephanie:

~Has pitures from Old Fashioned St. Nicholas party to put in scrap books.

Events~ Mark:

PGR Update~ Vince:

~Has buisness cards to pass out for the PGR websites. We lost another Minnesota soldier this week.

Website~ Warren:

~ Val has an update on the picture registration. Getting porn spam on our website, send Warren an email with the name you registered under and he will approve you.

Old Business:

~Pass the hat for ABATE U hospitality room... we will only be providing alcohol on Saturday night.
~Raffle~ Tanya checked with Hedine's and they have donated diamond earrings again this year, at a retail cost of $275.
~Robert made a motion to print 2000 tickets for our raffle with the prizes as follows:

1st~ half beef
2nd~ quarter beef
3rd~ quarter beef
4th~ jewelery
5th~ half hog
6th~ half hog
7th~ mini 4-wheeler

with the provision that if we are over budget we will knock off the 7th prize of the mini 4-wheeler.

Motion seconded by Mary and passed by oral vote.
~Spoon needs addresses for TY cards for the St. Nicholas Party.

New Business:

~Two tickets to the January Thaw in Mankato (January 26th).
~One ticket to the Grounded Hogs party on February 2nd.
~Stephanie made a motion to hold our annual Blizzard Bash on March 22nd, seconded by Trini, and passed by oral vote.
~Motion made by Stephanie to set entertainment budget at $200, seconded by ozzy, and passed by oral vote.
~Motion made by Charlene to put a half page and in the roadnoise at a cost of $55, seconded by Mark, and passed by oral vote.

~Swap meet on Sunday the 6th at the St. Cloud Armory.
