Glacial Ridge Chapter Minutes

Meeting called to order at 6:06pm

Biker Day at the Capitol will be February27th.

Secretaries report read by Spoon.
Motion to accept made by Mark, seconded by Jim, and passed by oral vote.

Treasurers Report~ Todd:

Motion to accept treasurer's report made by Mark, seconded by Hives, and passed by oral vote.

State Reps Report~ Chuckles:

~Jim Halvorson is receiving his Write to Ride patch.

~Wednesday February 27th is Biker Day at the Capitol.

~ABATE U raffle tickets are in. They must be sold by April 1st to receive the money for our chapter.

Vice Presidents Report~ Rodney:

~Pat Sprawls has cancer- we need an address so we can send a card.

Government Relations Liaison~ Pete Wlazlak:

~We are doing a letter writing campaign to oppose helmet laws.

~The smoking ban in bars are affecting our own local bars.

Public Relations/Historian~Stephanie:

~Getting around to reorganizing the scrapbooks.

Events~ Mark:

~Nothing

Old Business:

~Pass the hat for ABATE U hospitality room... we will only be providing alcohol on Saturday night.

~Val~ A big thank you to all who helped with the Old Fashioned St. Nicholas party.

~Deano~ Nursing home donation made the front page of the Pope County News.

~Spoon will take care of the Thank You cards for the OFSN party, just need addresses.

New Business:

~Annual Raffle~ Do price checks on beef, pig, mini bike, and mini 4 wheeler.

Open Discussion:

~January meeting we will begin officer nominations.

~Chuckles still has chapter pins.

~Hives has ABATE U raffle tickets.

~Next meeting is January 5th.
