Glacial Ridge Chapter Minutes

Saturday August 4th, 2007 6pm at Rooney's in Sedan

Meeting called to order at 6:07pm

Secretaries report read by Spoon. Motion to accept made by Mark, seconded by Becky, and passed by oral vote.

Treasurers Report~ Todd:

General account: $

Gambling account: $

~Thank you from Holloway first responders and from Hancock first responders.

~Due to the next meeting being held at State Rally the check for Pope County Hospice will be delivered.

~Midsummer Blizzard Bash income after expenses is $257.

~Motion to accept treasurers report made by Boyd, seconded by Becky, and passed by oral vote.

State Reps Report~ Chuckles:

~Jim H will be recieving a Write to Ride patch after recieving a letter back from his representative.

~Stillwater continues to harrass motorcyclists over noise.

~At the BOD a new chapter was approved. The Freedom First Riders will be based out of the Parkers Praire area and is currently 74 members strong.

Vice Presidents Report~ Rodney:

~The fair has doubled the price to have a booth for our fundraiser ticket sales.

Government Relations Liaison~ Snap:

~Snap has moved to Missouri and we are currently looking for someone to take this position.

Public Relations/Historian~ Vonnie:

Events Committee~Craig:

~John Schlaak benefit is tonight in Brooten

~Giving Rooney ad space

Old Business:

~3x5 flag~ Warren has turned all information over to Joey.

~Lowry Days~ August 24th-26th and we are NOT working it.

New Business:

~Rally~ Sign up sheet for security is going around.

Open Discussion:

~Boyd thanks the chapter for the flower for his dads funeral.

~November meeting moved to OCTOBER 27th.

~Boyd made a motion to donate $200 to John Schlaak's benefit, seconded by Mark, and passed by oral vote.
