Meeting called to order at 6:08pm
 
Nominations~no new nominations
 
Officer Elections
 
Secretaries report read by Dez.  Motion to accept made by Mark, seconded by Vonnie, and passed by oral vote.
 
Treasurers Report~ Todd:
  • General account: $ as of January 31st
  • Gambling account: $ as of December
Motion to accept treasurers report made by Mark, seconded by Jim, and passed by oral vote.
 
  • We recieved a Thank You card form Chuckles for helping him to go on the trip to DC.
 
State Reps Report~ Chuckles:
  • Still have 6 ABATE U raffle tickets.
  • Highlights from trip to DC.  Had several meetings to gather support to close loophole in HIPPA.
 
Vice Presidents Report~ Rodney:
  • Dale is in need of frontgate security at State Rally
  • See Rodney for state rally tickets
  • Dust control~ Boyd will be taking care of this
 
Government Relations Liaison~ Snap:
  • Get your rooms for ABATE U while they last.
  • NHTSA is reallt pushing for lid laws. If we see this state wide smoking ban pass we will likely see legislators moving onto lid laws.
 
Public Relations/Historian~ Vonnie:
  • nothing
Events Committee~Craig:
  • Buddy Bear Bus Tour on March 10th WILL LEAVE AT NOON!
 
Website~ Warren:
  • Not here but he is working ona flag with the chapter logo on it.
 
Old Business:
  • Blizzard Bash income was a whopping $654 minus expenses because of the real blizzard outside.
  • Larry Hubbard~ Thank You for the donation to his benefit.
  • Pass the hat for ABATE U hospitality suite.
 
New Business:
  • State rally advanced tickets are $30 before the April BOD.
  • Next meeting will be April 7th~do we want to change this or leave it?
  • Motion made by Tanya to keep the meeting on the 7th, seconded by Jim, and passed by oral vote.
  • Lowry days~ we need to think about if we want to do security again this year.
  • May is motorcycle awareness month~ Lori will set up a day to do the wash out.
  • ABATE U room drawing~Jari Gruis
