State Reps Report~
Chuckles:
- Next BOD is January 20th at 9am at the Best Western in North Mankato.
- Reminder that ABATE U is April 20 & 21 at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria.
- MN PAC was asked to give a full disclosure of expenses but will not.
- Biker Day at the Capitol will be January 31st.
Vice Presidents
Report~ Rodney:
- We need 501c3 numbers for our first responder donations, please get the numbers for places that we have not donated to before.
- Checked on beef for next raffle. We can get Hoffman processing plant to process the meat for $100.
- Boyd made a motion to finalize raffle details within next month, seconded by Vonnie, and passed by oral vote.
- Warren made a motion for the executive committee to make decisions reguarding processing and where we will buy the meat, seconded by Todd, and passed by oral vote.
Government Relations
Liaison~ Steve:
- Biker Day at the Capitol will be the last week in January, talk to your representatives about backing the failure to yeild bill.
Public
Relations/Historian~ Vonnie:
- Nothing
Events
Committee~Craig:
- March 10th we will be doing a bus run to deliver buddy bears. We are asking for a $10 donation to cover bus cost.
Website~ Warren:
- Need more pics for the website.
Old Business:
- Blizzard Bash will be held on February 24th so please start collecting items for the silent auction. Steve will be working on a poster.
- Thank You from South Central Chapter for Toys for Tots donation.
- Ryan's Benefit is coming along we will know more details at next meeting. Snap will take care of the auction.
New Business:
- None
Open Discussion:
- Tanya has seen an amazing number of articles in the newspaper about accidents involving failure to yeild. Please pay attention to this and go to Biker Day at the Capitol.
- Deano has some fish here if you would like to take some home to cook up.
