Glacial Ridge Chapter Minutes

Meeting called to order at 5:05pm.
 
Secretaries report read by Spoon.  Motion to accept made by Boyd, seconded by Mark, and passed by oral vote.
 
Treasurers Report~ Todd:

• General account: $
• Gambling account: $
• We received a Thank You card from Moon and Tanya.
• A thank you from the bartenders in Lowry for  help with security.
• A $500 donation was made by the folks at the Lowry bar.
• A $500 donation was made by Rooney.
• Motion to accept made by Trevor, seconded by Warren, and passed by oral vote.

 
State Reps Report~ Chuckles:

• ~Reminder that ABATE U is April 20 & 21.  There will be 5 bikes raffled off and 1000 tickets printed.
• ~We will be ordering another 150 Glacial Ridge pins.
• ~Next Southwest District meeting will be on December 9th at 2pm in Lynd at the Lyndwood Inn.
• ~There will be a proposal brought up at the next BOD meeting to increase dues by $10 per year bringing them to $30/year for a single membership and $40/year for a couple.  The extra money will be going to the lobbyists costs.
• After a discussion we voted that Chuckles vote no at the BOD on this proposal.

 
Vice Presidents Report~ Rodney:

• ~Our sales for the mini bike raffle was down this year.  Rodney broght up the idea that maybe we could raffle off a full beef and possibly a hog for the raffle instead of the mini's.  Discussion tabled until next meeting for further research.
• ~Rally update~ Dale wants to cut budget, bands, and promo tickets next year and possibly a different weekend.  Contact Dale with any ideas to improve our state rally. 

 
Government Relations Liaison~ Steve:

• ~Not Present

 
Public Relations/Historian~ Vonnie:

• ~Nothing

 
Events Committee~ Craig:

• ~Want to set up a run to deliver buddy bears, maybe in early spring.  We need names of places to give buddy bears to. Discussion tabled for further research.

 
Website~ Warren:

• ~Need chapter pics to put onto disc for display at ABATE U.

 
Old Business:

• ~Bank fund for Moon.  Todd set up account at Glenwood bank. Benefit tentatively set for Jan. 27.
• ~3x5 chapter flag~ Warren is still working on that.
• ~Names in can for room at ABATE U.

 
New Business:

• ~Christmas party will be after the December 2 meeting.
• ~Trevor made a motion to take $250 our of our general account to by alchol for the party, seconded by Boyd, and passed by oral vote.
• ~Blizzard Bash will be held on February 24th and Joey will take care of our music needs.
• ~Vonnie will be taking care of the secretaries duties for next meeting due to Spoon being gone to a wedding.
