Meeting called to order at 6:15pm.

- Motion toaccept made by Denise, seconded by Trini, and
passed by oral vote.
Treasurers Report~

- Motion to accept made by Denise, seconded by Steve, and
passed by oral vote.
State Reps Report~
Chuckles:
- ~Thank you to all who attended benefit for Wingnut.
- ~Next Southwest District meeting is at Bonfire Bar &
Grill in Litchfield.
- ~Thank you to Craig for planning out the "just for fun"
ride and thank you to all who made it.
- ~Please contact your reps and push them to visit the
failure to yeild bill, this bill is so important to protecting us all.
- ~The trip to DC has been postponed and is not yet
rescheduled.
Vice Presidents
Report~ Rodney:
- ~Nothing New on State Rally
- ~Next weekend there is a parade and street dance in Cyrus.
Government Relations
Liason~ Steve:
- ~The Failure to Yield bill did not pass but there is some
work being done on the wording to implement a tiered penalty system.
- ~Tennessee passed a bill that prohibits anyone under 9
years of age from being a passenger on a motorcycle.
Public Relations/Historian~ Vonnie:
- ~Digital camera was purchased.
- ~There was a picture printed in the Paynesville paper of
last weekends ride.
Events
Committee~Craig:
- ~Committee will meet at 5:30pm before every chapter meeting.
- ~Working bugs out on planning runs, but we hope for them to
grow large enough to need road guards.
Old Business:
- ~Central
Chapters Buddy Bear Bash is next weekend in Hillman where we will be
helping with security. We will meet at Marsha's Bar at noon to be
able
to ride to Hillman together.
- ~Boyd could not
get in contact with Paul in reguards to a tent for state rally.
Deano
suggested that we may have to rent one this year at an approximate cost
of $300. Discussion tabled until next meetring to gather information.
- ~Country Fest is set for security this year, next year we
will have to make contact earlier in the year.
- ~Need date when we baganb holding our meetings at Rooney's
for the Chapter sign.
- ~We will be drawing names for state rally tickets at next
meeting.
New Business:
- ~Out of respect for Rooney we would appreciate burnouts not
being done outside before or after the meetings.
- ~Janie Cossairt home interiors fundraiser.
Open Discussion:
- ~There
was an accident involving a motorist with no tail lights slamming on
their brakes to make a left turn and a motorcycle hitting them killing
the motorcycles passenger. There will be a benefit for the bikers
and
Val has posters and information.
- ~Information on the Patriot
Guard Riders and what they are doing at funreals for soldiers.
- ~An
issue to keep your eyes on are helmet laws which in 1973 was enacted in
Minnesota but repealed in 1976. If we want to keep our freedomn as
bikers and as citizens we must fight those who deem our freedoms
"unsafe" for us.
- ~A big thank you to Rooney for the munchies after our last
meeting.
- ~There
are questions on where our chapter merchandise comes from, those
questions need to be directed to Hollywood who is in charge of our
products ordering and sales.
- ~Along the
products line we would like to have some memorial patches made up to be
sold, again the point person on this is Hollywood.
